The disaster in Japan has brought nuclear energy under intense scrutiny, not just over seas, but in Canada as well. Last week we told you about strong opposition to a proposed uranium mine in Nunavut. Today we have a report on the health impacts of radiation and we hear about concerns over the proposed expansion of the Darlington nuclear facility in Ontario. We’ll also take a look at what exactly radiation is, and the different types of radiation a person can encounter.
